Working as part of a Dreamscheme project with a local school group in the surrounds of the beautiful yet underused Clay Pit, I designed a project to raise awareness of the decline of the global bee population and the impact it will have on our food source. Sessions involved making bee hotels, planting native wild flower seed, bee surveys, making willow shelters and painting murals.
